What is Bushin Ryu Aiki Bujutsu?
In this episode, we discuss what Bushin Ryu Aiki Bujutsu is and how it came to be. Which is quite interesting if you think about it. Martial arts, in general, have been around for millennia and their origins are pretty much unknown but here you will find out what sparked the “revival” of a system that is quite well-rounded in its physical, technical skill, and philosophical aspects.
Bushin Ryu Aiki Bujutsu is the system we teach at the Budo Shingikan Dojo and I wanted to clarify exactly what it is and what inspired its revival. I don’t want you to think I “created” this system. As you will soon find out it’s the culmination of many teachings that already existed.
My approach to bringing this martial arts training method was simply the catalyst. I think you’re really going to enjoy this episode of the Warrior Ways Podcast.
Is Bushin Ryu a Complete System?
Bushin Ryu is a complete martial arts system that is great for kids, teens, and adults.
As you will find out, it’s also more than just the physical aspects of martial arts… there’s also a mental aspect to the training.
There are many elements to the Bushin Ryu Aiki Bujutsu system that make it unique and rewarding. You have striking and grappling elements but you also have throwing, joint locking, and weapons training as well. However, as I previously mentioned Bushin Ryu also has the principles and philosophical aspects to the training which aides the student outside the dojo, in everyday life.
I explain everything in the video that I know you’ll love.
